Default Driving Untuned

Just upgraded to a TR220 cam in the truck and ordered a tune from Nelson, but it won't be in until wednesday. On tuesday I have to drive down to OKC, which is about an 8 hour round trip. Should I be ok driving the truck on the highway there and back?

If you went from the 212/218 to the TR220, and your current tune is a closed loop MAF tune, you'll be okay running in closed loop. The o2's will keep fueling in check for the most part. Just keep your foot out of it.

It will probably want to stall at stops, etc.

I figured it was a small enough difference I would be safe, but better to ask a be for sure. Surprisingly it hasn't had a problem with dying at stops. It just bogs down and then recovers.
