Don't it figure
#1
Well i got my retune from Allen Nelson today and couldn't wait to get home and write it. After 2 hours of trying everything under the sun to try to get it to connect I gave up. I kept getting "Interface connected but no power from vehicle check cables and turn key to run position." So I changed usb and reinstalled drivers and still nothing. I managed to clear the logs from MVPI so that kind of told me that it was the obd2 cable or port. For $hits and giggles I drove up to AutoZone and had them do a free scan and they couldn't connect either. I had my mechanic check for any leaks in the sts setup a few weeks ago and he hooked up his Snapon scanner trying to be helpful in removing SES light. Needless to say I think something happend when he was connected. My question is how can I get this fixed, Is it a real pain to add a new obd2 port or does it have another clip further up the line that I can just unplug and add the new harness? Any help would be appreciated if anyone has been down this road. It just never ends with this project.

I will do just that, i saw a thread on hptuners that involved a guy with a colbaltss and something about the cigarette lighter causing a prob. Thanks for the input and i'll try that first thing in the morning. Thanks for the fast response fellas.
