Default Do tuners do updates?

I am wanting to do some upgrades in different steps and was wondering if any tuning company will let me do different steps without paying for a full tune every time. Trying to build on a budget.

I think all of our sponsors do free retunes.

I think you will find it varies. I personally charge for the license on the first tune, plus labor which will vary depending on the amount of work. Then, any later changes are just labor since the license was paid for previously. Tuning correctly is time consuming, and as the old saying goes - time is money...

I can tell you for a FACT that Justin(Black Bear Performance) does not charge for retunes unless you upgrade to FI.

every vendor/tuner is different... some do, some don't... some give free updates for a certain amount of time, some charge every time, etc etc... need to ask the particular tuner you're going with, what their policies are...

I think it also depends on what was changed. If it is something that is fairly easy to account for, then I don't see why there should be much of a charge, if any. However, as it was stated above, time is money, and if I am going to spend a couple hours retuning, I am going to charge for it.

I always tell people to do as many modifications as possible before getting the tune done. That way they aren't spending time and money getting the vehicle retuned.
