I've looked around for an answer, but have been unsuccessful in my search. I was wondering if the DIC's in the silverados could be programmed to read out messages like the corvettes and trailblazers or is this just a special edition thing? If so how can it be accomplished?

 

It's been awhile since I've read up on this , but in my old 04 silvy using HP tuners it would display a personal message while tuning , but not a permanent one . Would be cool though . Maybe it's possible now.

 

Mine doesn't even do that... lol

 

The other cars only show it on startup, that would be fine with me as well, but I don't know how to change it...

 

Mine displayed Black Bear Performance when tuned, but when I asked him if it would do it on startup each time he said unfortunately not. I do not think the trucks are capable.

 

Surely if it does it while being tuned then there is a way to display it on startup, at least I would think so..
