Hi guys. Haven't been here since it became Performancetrucks.net. I have a question for those of you who are farmiliar with the diablosport preditor. I have an '02 tahoe and just got the preditor in the mail. When i went to do teh "93 performance" tune it said that there were "no tunes installed for this vehicle" meaning there was no tune in the preditor to tune me with. What gives? Do I have to pay seperately for the tune or something?

PM Z06 Dreaming and ask him about the predator....he had it on his 'hoe... maybe he can shed some light.

 

Is the Predaor new? It should have been able to load that up. If not I would call Diablo themselves and they will help you out with there tech line.

 

yeah, the preditor is a new one. I ordered it off autoanything.com and get this -- the first one they sent me was a used one! It was locked to another VIN and had a scratch on the casing. So i called and they sent me a new one, and this one apparently doesnt have a damn tune on it to tune the tahoe with...this is bullshit. I'm thouroughly unimpressed with autoanything.com/diablosport given this situation. Terrible customer service. Not to mention diablosport doesnt have a toll free number, so I'm paying long distance charges to wait for 30 minutes for their damn tech support to answer...

***'em... get your cash back and go buy a good tune instead of a handheld.... if you are dead set on getting a handheld get the new Granatelli fuego... same people as predator but its supposed to be tons better.

 

I am selling my Predator for another wait4me. I have had 2 hand helds now and the wait4me is far superior!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IMO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Diablo Sport sucks big time. I was in your same situation. Took them 30 minutes to get me off hold every time I called. I called everyday for a week trying to get my Predator unlocked. Long story, anyway...I will never buy another product from them. If your tuner will not load a tune then they sent you an empty unit. I would ship it back, get a refund and then find a dyno shop close by or order a Nelson or Wait4Me tune. They offer free updates and they actually answer the phone from time to time
