Default DOn't worry about that.

I was also concerned with "messing something up" but a friend of mine recorded 2 of my runs with EFI live and even adjusting those items I was well within the safe zones. My total timing was only 27.5 degrees. and I had zero knock returns. Go ahead and don't be afraid to experiment with it.

Maybe try taking it back off to see if maybe its something with the truck. I also have a predator, i havent used it for the tune yet, but it works great for a scan tool and live monitoring..

So what items in the programmer should i mess with? And to what degree? Im kinda stupid when it comes to tuning! Also since I dont have the low temp stat is there anything i should stay away from? My buddy with the shop is outa the country right now, so id kinda like to do this my self. This way if im at the track with out him i know what to do. Im kinda a sally when it comes to messing with stuff like this, I really dont want to harm the truck. But i know once i start messing with the stuff theres always a risk of it happening anyway.

My idle is all over the place. From 16-20 and every thing in between is that normal? I advanced my timeing by 1deg and lean my fuel out 1click. Hows that sound? I had no knock retard. Is there any advice on what to look for on the real time data. How much spark is to much? Thanks in advance

Well that was no good. I had knock with just that little ajustment so I returned it back to the stock performance setting and it went away. It seems the tune is maxed out already? I'm seeing 27deg in timeing with the stock 93 performance tune. The change I made with the shift quickness worked wonders.

Was it actually faster with the shift change or did it just feel faster?

Other that that didnt see any gain at all. I tooks the tune off and had it scanned adn theres no problems. I just think i wasted $400 on a peice of ****!!!
