Default dfco

Can somebody post the settings or maybe even a screenshot of the dfco setting that will optimize fuel economy?

Try a search over on HPTuners.
I found some settings that seem to work well.
fuel is cut pretty much right away when you let off, on the highway.
It's only been a couple days, so I can't tell ya it will save a lot of gas.

One thing to note,
with dfco you will slow down noticably when fuel is cut when you let off the gas pedal.
without dfco you coast pretty well.
SO, it could be helpful while braking, but just cruising and coming down a hill, I don't know which would be better for economy?

Will the same things apply to trucks since they are heavier? I have been browsing through hptuners and I guess it really seems like one of those things that you have to figure out.

Oh yea, I was also thinking. Why are people not afraid of the engine getting this lean?

Being a little lean is fine as long as you don't have a large load on the engine, that is where you will kill an engine real fast.
The only time you should be running leaner is at cruise or at deceleration.

I had a problem getting mine to turn on at the right times. The first time it would kick on everytime I let off the gas. Thats not something you want happening on the hwy cause it is just like hitting the brakes and will slow you down fast.
I found it to be a PITA and just decieded not to use it.

Like I said
I have only tried it for a couple days.
I'm not sure I will keep it active.
I am pretty sure I could tune it so it will mostly come on when I really want to decelerate.

Yeah, It does slow you down. Feels like driving a stick.
