Maybe try swapping the pedal from your other vehicle...

Was going to, but it has all the adjustable pedal stuff on it.

I ordered an APP sensor for an '03, we'll see if that works. Different PN than for an '04, so we'll see.

This is why I don't like all that fancy DBW stuff.

Good luck with your fix.

Although the 03 and 04 APP sensors are different PN's, they both seem to operate about the same way. At rest, TPS is registering about 20% by half throttle, it's up to 100%.

What's next???? New pedal assmbly from an '03 GMC?? I think the pedal I have now is from an '04 2500 Silverado.

New assembly was already suggested, but I haven't seen any indication as to why a different one would solve the problem, or how I can tell for sure which one I need to get.

Simply match the PCM file and operating system with the TACC and you should be ok.

Well, the PCM file is the easy part to identify. Tac modules and pedals aren't so easy to figure out what matches what.

I am eying up a Pedal, TAC and harness from an '03 right now.

So I bought this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT

Pluged in the TAC and pedal, and same result. What do I throw money away on next? New PCM, new throttle body? Anyone want to take a guess??? My guessing isn't very reliable.

Go on ls1truck.com and talk to gasguzzler I think his screen name is. He's a GM tech and knows what PN are compatible for the DBW stuff.
