Default Cylinder Balance Test

Since I was in and playing around with a case learn the other day I decided to run the cylinder balance test in HPT. All came back at 97 - 98%. Took a couple minutes to figure out that you had to turn on "steps".

Just wondering if anyone else has done it with what results?

I check mine every now and then. My results vary from 98%-101%

I run it in 70 steps and start at 800rpm. Cylinder Balance: The cylinder balance test calculates % of efficiency using current RPM. RPM is gauged with all injectors running normally. Injectors are then cut 1 cylinder at a time and the new RPM is compared to the pre-test RPM to determine % of efficiency. - Basically in short you're testing the condition of each cylinder to see how much it's "participating" in tuning your engine over compared to the other cylinders.

eh sorta, it tells you which cylinders are "pulling their weight" and which ones are not. If that makes sense. This is a good test to run when you suspect a bad injector, a valve not sealing, a cracked ring, etc.

The default 70 I think. 650rpm. Might try it at different settings.
