Default which cylinder is #7

need to find out which cylinder is #7 cause i am getting a p0307 misfire code for that cylinder and am trying to find out whats wrong with it.

the left bank has the odd numbers on the LSx engines.
Not all engines are the same, a little trick that my Dad showed me is to look at the engine from the top, and see which head is furthes forward. That would be were the number 1 rod is.......

the 7th cylinder is the on the drivers side of the motor against the firewall

I had the same issue on my 2002, did a ton of testing and ended up pulling the injector on that cyl and cleaned it out. Apparently had something in the screen, couldn't see it but cleaned and problem went away.
