Is that a DBW? Is that why it says 21% throttle position when you're cranking? 60 degrees seem like it would want to run backwards. I'll do a cold cranking scan tomorrow.

Hirdlej, changed the settings you gave me, didn't seem to change it at all. What can i do to pull the timing down only while its cranking. it instantly drops to normal when it fires and runs fine. If i lower it in any places i have thought it would be to low while its running too. I am going to try commanding 30 degrees on my lunch maybe if i get a chance.

Oh and i unplugged my coil packs and turned it over cold and it turned over fine. nothing binding the motor or lack of amperage. has to be too much advance!

Could the timing be based on the TPS? Is it normal to be 21% open? Is it electronic throttle? My timing is at zero degrees before it cranks, and I think it goes to about thirteen cranking. I am on my Mac now and can't look, either.

Dude looking at the log your fooking timing is at 60 degrees when you try to start the truck, NO WONDER! Try the newest tune I attached. This is occuring when your Engine coolant temp is cold only right? Also notice your LTFT's are +15/+21. Why is this? I thought you said they were pretty close. At any rate.

that log was from a while back when i was still dialing in the fueling and such. believe me they are nowhere near that far off. I noted the 63 degrees right away in the thread, everyone seems to miss that for some reason. And yeah its only when the coolant temp is cold. i tried pulling it back in the ect base and mult table in cold temps but it runs crappy then after it starts until it warms up. I am not seeing the attatched tune?

It sure seems to this caveman that the throttle should drive to closed on startup. Don't electronic throttles have IACs, too? Somebody familiar with ETCs will have to answer these questions (or not, since they aren't joey's questions).
