I have an 08 sierra that is doing exactly the same thing. Did anyone come up with a solution or verdict? 5.3, mild cam,3000 stall, vette servo, k&n cold air and magnaflow duals. Run its *** off but this problem is very annoying. If there isnt a solution, does it hurt anything in the tranny when it keeps locking and unlocking?

From the looks of the thread Superado posed over on tech there are quite a few tables we (efilive & hptuners) users do not have access to. However some have the skills to dig in a make corrections directly to the code controlling tcc apply modes. Maybe one these talented indviduals would like to help us out.

The tcc apply / release max pressure table seem to be more specific to the TC than the Force Motor Current tables.

Anyone know how the {D6035} TCC Apply / Release Max Pressure (kPA) table is used?

My 03 Avalanche with the 5.3 and trailblazer converter stays locked when I lift off the throttle at speeds above 50 or so. Below 50 or so, it definitely unlocks, whether in cruise control or not. Since my stall speed is still fairly conservative, and I've set my converter to lock up at slower speeds than stock, I don't mind it because the truck is responsive when I get back on the gas, but if I don't hit the throttle hard, it relocks.
