not sure if it's 80e specific or not...didn't ask...
mine locks @ 1-2 and 2-3 during WOT...no matter what I change...
the only way I can make a pass w/o it locking is to override the solenoid using the scanning software while logging the pass...
the only reason we ever logged TCC MODE was to see if the old converter's TCC was burned up or if it was even being commanded to lock...
after the new converter install, the TCC MODE was still in my pid list to log and that's when we noticed that it was locking no matter what...

Need to re-read it then. All I can say is I am sure mine isn't locking in 2nd, and I can control where it locks or not in 3rd @ WOT. Haven't logged TCC mode with the 80e yet.

don't take this the wrong way...but...
how are you sure w/o logging it?
you can't tell mine is locking...just as Ed stated...
mine is locking right @ the shifts...you can not tell like you can in PT DD'ing...
