Converter wont stay locked

i'm pretty sure the converter should stay locked when you let off the gas (as long as your above the ttc lock mph). when you hit the brakes, then yeah it will unlock.

not on the newer trucks with the separate tcm. my brother-in-law fought this on his tbss. it would take about 10 seconds to lock back up after he let off the accelerator. a custom tuned tcm from ed wright fixed it.

i don't know cause we have hptuners also. never could figure it out but his tcm locked and stayed locked.

Pcm4less has this too appearantly. The thing is you can't tune the tcm if you do the upgrade.

nevermind what i said, mines still fucxxx up. if the converter clutch was bad would it still lock up? i can get mine to lock up if i give it 40-50% throttle but as soon as i let off some it unlocks. also i wonder if going vacuum modulated would help?
