Default Code P0106 - MAP sensor

I'm getting code P0106. The only time that I get this code is I turn key, and start driving when the engine is "cold." After it's warmed up, it'll go away. On a cold start; if I let the engine warm up for 2-3 min, then it's fine/ok.

What's the differences in the two. I have no EGR, so I don't see if there's anything that warms up in the intake. I just did a motor swap and had no prior issues with any codes at all. Again, this only happens when I cold start, and start driving, never once it's warmed up. The engine is a 6.0 with a 222/224 -112 cam.

theres a few sanity checks within the pcm...your probably just out of range at cold startup...should be able to be tuned out with no ill effects though.

Could it be something with the tuning? Maybe the map sensor isn't seeing enough manifold vacuum due to the overlap of the cam?

"tuned out" . . . do you mean " do not report" or just delete it out?

forgive me I know nothing about the tuning side.

neither...you'd need to adjust the limits of the test.
