Idling, all the heat is goin to build up in the intake manifold tho. If i idle for about 20-30 minutes with the AC on my IATs are in the 140-150 range. hold it at 3000rpms and it cools off to 100* quick.

I was going to suggest to keep the RPM's slightly up to see if that helps. Would you consider using header wrap on the intake pipe? If you really wanted to get fancy, you could do a ceramic coating over it. Do you have an infrared thermometer? Try checking the heat soak times when you aren't at the track to understand what is going on.

sitting at a stoplight for even 2 minutes IAT's were going 20-25* over ambient, and would then drop to a few over ambient about half mile down the road at 45 mph
