Check engine light is on the code is P0449
This is the second time this has happened to me. The first time was back in October 2012. My truck is a 2009 5.3 L. Does anybody have experience with this before and how it can be fixed

Code is for the evap vent solenoid electrical circuit. Look to see if it is unplugged if you snagged it on some brush or the lock tang is broke. key on engine off with a DMM the pink wire to ground should read 12volts. After that you need a shop and scanner to fix it if it has power.
