Exclamation Check Engine flashing after accelerating in Parking

Hi I recently got a 2001 Tahoe/Suburban, my battery was dead so I jumper it o start the car. Everything was working quite well so I wait to get it warm and I accelerated the vehicle in parking mode until 4000rpm, trying to speed up the charging process, everything looks normal until I depress the accel pedal. I think the motor began to misfire and the check engine light began to flash. Any idea what could happen? In the manual said that you can retry a start after 10 seconds and probably resets the alarm. I try it and the light still flashing.

Any help would be aprreciated

Disconnect the neg battery cable for 10mins.
Then try again.
Flashing CEL means misfire.
