I have a crappy work truck that i dont want to pcm swap and i had to replace the distributor on it and now it has the P0134 code so i need to set the timing. i cant find any kind of definitive answer on a scan tool that can read the camshaft retard.
I have Efilive and it doesnt appear to do anything with a 1997.
A local guy wants $90 minimum.
any help is appreciated.

 

nevermind. i decided to just repin for a 0411 since i have a few sitting around.

 

With out something like a tech 2 or a high end scan tool like Snap on I dont know of another way.

You likely be a head doing a 411 swap any way.
