Default Chasing my wideband around with voltage offset

Guys,
Anyone ever had an issue where you are chasing your wideband around with voltage offset. I was trying to get them close and noticed my gauge would read 14.3 and HPTuners reading 13.4 so I adjusted the offset to make up for the .9 and next thing i know the wideband starts to go more lean to 15.3. I change the offset again to adjust and again I watch the gauge move away again.

This is an Innovate LC-1

I hope someone understands what I am talking about and knows what might be the issue. I really would like to tune using the wideband over fuel trims, but really have no clue what the issue is.

I plan on calling Innovate tomorrow if they are open to see what they may know but figured I would see if anyone here has any ideas.

(P.S. For you HPTuner forum goers, yes its an identical post )

By what means are you adjusting the offset? Are you using the HPT EIO voltage table for your wideband and tweeking it? When you say you make a adjustment then it goes lean I am assuming you are using that table. How much are you changing the voltage?

Yes I am using the HPT EIO to adjust it. As for how much am i changing the voltage, I have been as much a 2 and as low as .2 chasing the gauge.

The formula is volts/0.5 + 10 but i have been as low as 8.2 trying to match them, and as stated before the more i try to get close to the gauge the further the gauge goes out.
