My wife has an 03 yukon Denali xl, I was wondering if in HPT you can disable the stability control and traction control. Some times when you go from a dead stop like leaving a stop light a bell goes off and says service stability system. I think this crap is usless anyways so I just want to disable it. Can it be done In HPT???

Traction control, yes. Stability control, I don't know. I have a 2002 OS, and Editor doesn't say anything about it.

 

The Denali should have a dash mounted button to turn off stability control, at least my Escalade does. It is there in case you get stuck in snow and are trying to rock the car.

 

Justin removed a bunch of the traction control stuff, but it still triggers in some instances. Its a habit of mine now to just push the button every time i start my truck.

 

well that stabilty control is what i really want to get rid of. This truck has had problems with it since i got it. The traction active light used to come on and reduce all the engine power, almost got creamed a few times because of it. Tried to replace the wheel speed sensor and ended up having to replace the entire hub to fix the problem. They put too much electronic **** in cars these days, I just want to get disable as much of this crap as possible. Makes me not want to buy a new car ever again.
