Default Can I run bigger injectors without tuning??

I am getting ready to go with a turbo, and I have a set of 60# injectors. Can I go ahead and install them without a being tuned for them? I am trying to get as much work done without my truck being undrivable. Its my DD.

No you need to wait untill you are tuned for them, so the fueling tables can be set up to run them injectors..

so your going from #24ers to #60ers, hmmmmmmmmmmm, i think it would barely run without tuning, much less be a decent DD..... Just my .02...

31# to 60# Its a 8.1
But I still understand what your saying. what exactly needs to be changed to run them?

I have a Predator (givin to me free and YES I am going to get a live tune in near future), is there anything I can modify in it to run them or not?(probably not) If not, I'll wait on the tune.

No expert here, but you are trying to put in injectors that will put in 2-3 (24-31#) times the fuel in for the same rpm and load, IMO will not work well. You would have to lower the fuel pressure so much they would probably dribble fuel instead of spray. Not trying to be a smart in my answer, its just the way it would work. Best is to keep your injectors now and low/no boost until you can get it tuned right. Adjusting the injector slope with Predator you would be telling the computer the injectors are much bigger so the computer would cut down the time they are open.... you can try it but probably not work very well, your idle would probably be rich and all over the place. Maybe if the injector size difference wasn't so large.
