EDIT. looking at coreys log, we both hit 14.5 psi on the map.

I was getting bored, and I've realized that I'm not going to have much time at all in the upcoming months. I'm going to be doing some work in several cities in the early summer and won't have much time at all for the truck. So basically I wanted to get it up and running and get this silly wideband sensor in. But like I believe and what you said, I would not go anything less than 1 7/8" on 6.0 and up. It only leaves room to grow. Regarding the turbo, I'll just hold off until more kits are being made the way I'd want to buy one. So far the only ones I've seen that use equal means of evacuating the exhaust are the Nelson kit and the Synergy Twin Kit (big bucks). Once you start using logs and things like that you have different pressures on each bank and that can't be good for reliability.

You're actually bouncing around from 94kpa to 98kpa. This is showing some instability in your airflow.

What headers did you end up installing on your truck? Also, do you have a log to share with us after the install?

I've hit a constant 96-97kPA if I recall correctly with bone stock exhaust. Your reasoning would then imply that the stock exahuast is less restrictive than some header setups. I find that hard to believe. I think there's more to it.

I don't have them on yet, they just came in yesterday. I was hoping to get them on this weekend but there's a chance of snow and temps in the 20s/30s. So I wont be too eager to get them on lol.

i was just looking at data and max and it said 14.5psi or 100 kpa..

I only have 2.5" collectors, those might be hurting me.. or might be helping my TQ.

I think there's more to it as well and I'm not claiming I know EXACTLY what's going on. I'm just stating a flucuation in KPA readings indicate a restriction in the exhaust. Even though you may get the same KPA swing with stock exhaust vs headers, doesn't mean that the power output is going to be the same between the two. It's showing that there's a restriction with both setups. That's all.
