My PCM was tuned by Nelson(unlocked by request) with HPTuners. I am thinking about adjusting the tune a little on my own. I have researched EFI Live and HPTuners, and I like some of the EFI Live stuff better(I think). Will I be starting all over from scratch unless I use HPTuners? There's only a few little things I want to play with, so I don't want to start all over.

As long as the operating system hasn't changed, you should be o.k. Might want to give Allen a call to make sure.

 

you cant use efi live with hptuners tune, cant use hptuners with efi live tunes.

 

i believe nelson uses hp b/c i am going to do the same thing!!!

 

you sure? Seams I've heard of this being done before.... I beileve parish done it when he ran into dwell issues.. I know for sure if the os has changed it will not work...

 

I thought that as long as the PCM wasn't locked you could tune and retune it with any kind of software? You're not changing the operating system correct? Just settings and parameters?

 

if nelson uses efi and you get hpt you can still tune it as long as the OS didnt change.
