Camshaft position sensor help!

Default Camshaft position sensor help!
So I went and got my check engine light looked at because my truck had been not wanting to start an has lacked a little power.. 3 of the codes showed that the camshaft sensor was out while the 4th was about my cruise not working.. So I got the new sensor just need a little insight on how to install such sensor..

Any help? Truck is an 08 sierra 4.8L

its easy, behind intake, one plug, one bolt. pull old out put new in then go for a long drive.

If its an 08 isn't it on the timing cover?

That's why I'm confused I've been told these two different ways lol guess ill have to just try one and see what happens!!

Well today it just took 3 times to start and made a weird noise te 4th time and then the 5th time it started right up
