I drive around in the same tune that I go to the track with. You can use the tow haul button to up the shift points. EFI live is one of the best investments that I have made for my truck. Its nice to log and see exactly what your truck is doing. and adjust as needed.
The .4 drop was on a 80* day. First run ran a 14.4@93. Loaded the new tune and went back to the lane and ran a 14.0@ 96. It should be good for 12s in some cold weather.

Well I did some tuning. I set all shifts at 6600. Couldn't tell if it was an improvement or not on the 1-2 shift. Definitely slower on the 2-3 shift. It really feels like my cam dies around 6400.
Could my exhaust be a restriction? It has Cal speed hears and y pipe, but the factory muffler flange. Which prlly now's to 2.5 inches, maybe less.

Best way to figure out where to set your shift points is strapping it down on a dyno if you are able to. Whatever rpm your power starts to die off at is where I'd set the shift points. If you peak power is at 6000 then there's no need to spin the motor any further than that IMO.
I've got a stock bottom lq4 with a small 219/227 .607/.614 112lsa cam with virgin 243 heads, headers, 3200 stall, 4:10 gears and a good dyno tune and ran a 12.4 1/4 et on an 88* day shifting at 6000. My peak power on the dyno was at 6000 so that's where we set the shift points. Although the cam card rates the powerband of my cam all the way to 6800 it only made power to 6000. I believe the stock truck intake and 78mm tb are really choking it down.
Thew a 150shot on it and went 11.6 after pulling a couple degrees of timing

I wish I could put mine on a dyno. AWD sucks sometimes lol. I log dyncyl.air and when it starts to drop is where I set the shift points. I set it to shift at 6950 and its still not falling off. I guess this cam along with the rest of my setup likes the rpm lol. That's as high as Im going to take it. Its going to get a new cam when I add some boost and the shift points can come down some.
