A/C help needed
my a/c is not working so i thought i had a leak so i hooked up my a/c manifold gauges to add a can or two to get me going till i have the time to track down the leak but the system is charged? the fuses are all good wiring looks good i tried to jump the pressure switch still no luck? i hooked up my HP tuners and was able to kick the compressor on, it would go on for around 5 to 10 seconds then turn off (HP tunes dont run stuff long just long enough to check function) when the a/c clutch was kicking on the a/c was getting cold
so wheres the problem?
fuses, wiring, relay, a/c clutch is working, jumping the pressure switch didnt kick it on so i'm guessing thats good
the light for the a/c button is lighting up but can it be the a/c controller? any thing else to check before i swap it out?

I have a gauge for that

If your truck has a pressure sensor on the high pressure line then the fans can be controlled by AC system pressure. If not, they can only be controlled by AC clutch engagement. I believe only the electronic TB trucks have the pressure sensor, although it can be added to the cable TB trucks with enough effort. This doesnt really help you, just background info.

ok i just wasn't sure if the pcm has to be programed for the a/c since i swapped to the electric fans
at this point the only time i can get it to kick on is with the HP tuners so i'm leaning on the a/c control panel
if it was do to low pressure when i jumped the pressure switch the a/c clutch should of engaged i dont know of any thing else it can be?

This gots me stumped
I replaced the control panel no help, system has freon, jumped the sensor on the dryer no help, swapped relay nothing, fuses are good, HPTuners I can kick the clutch on and get cold air
The lower sensor is 3 wires what's the correct way to jump it to test the system?
