Does the speedhut gauge utilize the analog output of the main box?

My Daytona is similar in design. Will be hidden but easily accessible for when I need to see it.

Random ideas: That would easily fit in the overhead cuby hole, or the little one under the heater controls, or possibly you could take the housing apart and fit it behind the instrument cluster to show through it. I've been thinking about how to avoid the A-piller gage pod to keep the interior as stock looking as possible.
