Bad MAP ??
#1
Just installed my Aeroforce scan gauge and its cool but I noticed one thing. All the gauge readouts match up except manifold pressure, its reads lower than my vac/boost gauge by 9 or so psi. Does this indicate a bad or leaking MAP? It might explain a very incosistant bog/flutter at WOT that I still have. Maybe the boost from the procharger did something to it???

Your stock MAP sensor is a 1-bar, meaning that it's only good to read vacuum. If you really want to use the "boost gauge" on the Aeroforce gauge, you need to install a 2 bar MAP sensor and calibrate the PCM to read it.

Most boost gauges read vacuum in hg-in instead of PSI. Make sure you are comparing the same units.
The only way to take advantage of a 2-bar MAP sensor is to load in a custom operating system in your tune and go to a 2-bar speed density tune.

Inches of vacuum is different than PSI vacuum. I doubt you have a problem, the two gauges are just measuring in different units. Your boost gauge reads inches, and your Aeroforce reads PSI.
