anyone using hp tuners? Got truck tuned, guy says 2 credits disappeared made me pay?

Mine cost me $775! $500 for HP Tuners and $275 for "The MAN" to tune (Wheatley).
Hell $400 is cheap for a tune with updates. However his license issue should be his problem. That would be like a mechanic charging you more because he broke one of his tools on your car when he worked on it...those are inherited costs of the business.
