Default Anyone Lost Communication with EBCM

My ABS, Traction, and BRAKE lights are on on my dash so I hooked up the Tech 2 to it and it said Lost Communication with the EBCM. Does anyone know why or anything on this?? I have removed all the OnStar modules and wiring and disconnected the factory autolevel and have the brakes on it but I dont think thats the culprit of the Communication Error. Thanks guys

Can happen with larger than stock wheel/tire combos and gears.

Alot of the 07's have problems with the harness rubbing and shorting on the brake pedal and the parking brake assembly. Something you might want to check.

I ran into this on an 00 tahoe. I unpluged the ABS motor because it was constantly running. it would not conect like yours. Finally i plugged the stupid abs pump back in and bam it actually connected to the body control module. I have a feeling it has something to do with the stupid onstar crap... I know the diagnostics are routed through it so they can monitor it but i dont know how. when ever i conect to a car with onstar the first thing it shows when trying to read the data is the onstar conection.... may want to get your hands on a wireing diagram.

The EBCM's are know for going out on the older trucks.(probably 99 to 05?) Don't know how they're doing on the later model ones.
