I didn't see this until now...never mind the last question in the other thread!

Hey man, Ill explain how the PLX emulation works. Im glad you mentioned this because it is asked alot

A narrow band reads 0-1V 0 being lean and 1 being rich
A wideband reads 0-5v 0 being lean and 5 being rich

PLX has integrated a scaling feature which puts out 0-1v based upon the wideband reading of 0-5v.

So in short terms the 0-5v is "converted" to 0-1v and sent back to the PCM.

This in turn still tells the PCM if the vehicle is in a lean or rich state without actually having a narrowband sensor.

So yes, you can remove your narrowband and replace it with the PLX wideband setup and still maintain your NB readings and functions from the PCM due to PLX's emulation feature.

Hope this helps,
Derek

i have a plx and am very interested to know bout this as well. with some digging into old post i ran arcoss this....
https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...ight=o2+wiring
and

but both say that the purple is the high input and the tan is the low input. the plx only gives you one wire, so which do you hook it up to?

Make sure the wire is inserted into the top right slot on the analog connector that plugs into the sensor module.

As far as tapping into the 02 harness wire, try the high signal.

Thanks,
Derek
