No joke! Maybe that is why I only cut a 1.67 60'~ I did not know the stall police were under cover at the track with us Friday. I mean jeeze I had my scanner on I know what my tranny temp was. I dont even really brake stall on the line, he must be hearing the power and mistaking it for stalling.. It was however a clever way for him to get this thread off topic. I was simply letting the original poster know that ETC will have no negative effect on acceleration as long as the tune is setup correctly.

Ok just got back! It runs really good now! Removed 100%tq management and also used a wideband 02 senor and it was running 12.6 @ WOT. There is a noticable difference with a custom HP tuners and a programmer.

It's not in PE at the time. Some 2006 and 2007 classic Operating Systems have "quirky" PE activation. It's common for them to not enter PE mode for the first few ignition cycles after a tune and at random times otherwise, even when all conditions have been met.

After a few cycles would it then settle and remain?

I am sure you are correct. However the point of my post was 14.7 at WOT is dangerous.

This is silly. If you start out with latest base tune for a certain year model it will have the "fixes" already installed. You will run into these issues when starting out with original base tunes that had bugs, that have since been corrected. This is the reason your computer is flashed at certain points when you take your vehicle to the dealer. You can think of this as a patch for windows. The OEM finds a fault, and fixes it when your vehicle is in for service.

I simply stated that:
1. your vehicle will not throw a lean code in PE mode.
2. Your AFR is WAY lean at 14.7 at WOT

Nothing more, nothing less. If you guys want to take this post off topic, go ahead. I will not be part of it.

Not sure who you're directing this at, I was just stating WHY it was 14.7 at WOT, not the ramifications of doing so.
