Anyone experience the AC compressor engages no matter what you turn on? For example, I'll turn on the heat and it will engage(AC button Off). The tuner was not very familiar with the NNBS pcm's and so it still needs work, but the AC tune is quite noticable. It starts surging and will stall at stop lights...

Is there a setting in HP tuners that will turn on the AC and fans like this?

2007 suburban tuned with HP tuners.

 

Do you have recirculate or defrost selected? A/C will engage using either of those even if you don't have the a/c button on.

 

Ditto, being it's a burb make sure the settings for rear passengers don't have the a/c or recirc on.

 

When u put the temp in hot it turns the a/c compressor on to dehumidify the air.

 

Should have just been the fan as it was set for ambient temp. I did not have the defrost or recir on I dont believe. Have to check on the rear controls, make sure they arent on.
