Angry ABS Light and Parking Brake Light

Ok here's a rundown

This morning I took a sawsall and cut the mufflers off,and now for some reason the ABS and parking brake lights are on but the parking brake light will come on and off but the ABS light will stay on. Also the turn signal lights are on but they're really dim,but will get alittle brighter as I apply the brake and go back to dim as I let off.

So what do you guys think the problem is because it didn't do it before I cut the mufflers off. Thanks in advance

Not necessarily. I have the same problem. My parking brake and abs lights both come on and go off randomly. But everything works fine. I can go down the road and hit a bump and theyll come on and may stay on or may go off. Ive checked everythkng. Its like a short i cant find. Not saying my cause is the same cause i didnt sawzall anything. But somethings going on.

I didn't hit any wires or unplug anything. It's just weird why it did it after I cut the exhaust off.

Check/clean the sensors at the front wheels. My old truck did the light thing a couple of times when the front sensors got dirty.

The part about the turn signals and brake lights sounds like a bad ground or something. Going to take some investigating.

Maybe the EBCM (I think that's what it's called) is starting to go bad.

It just blows my mind of why it did it after I cut the exhaust off ya know. If I'm thinking of the same part your talkin about I believe it's like $1000 to replace.

Yeah that's the one I'm talking about. IIRC it's mounted back under the truck so the vibration from the sawzall may have sent it over the edge.

Check your sensors first. If all look connected and clean the dealer can tell you if it's the EBCM or something else.
