Good luck with it.
The dealer might be able to do a "reset" on it too. When I had my 00 ECSB GMC still under warranty the lights came on a couple of times. The first time they cleaned the front wheel sensors and the second they did something to reset the module. Can't recall exactly what they did but they used a Tech II.

You could also take it somewhere to read the abs codes and ignore the guesses in this thread.

My Brothers 2001 Silverado had the same symptoms and it ended up being the ebcm or whatever the module is called. It's not a cheap part so hope it's something a little more simple than that

What gets me is that I unbolted the exhaust before and it did it so I bolted the exhaust back up and it took alittle driving but it went back to normal so I know that the sawsall had nothing to do with it. Little **** like that annoys the crap out of me because it happens just out of no where.

could be a bad ground too, my buddies was doing that same thing after him and his buddies did a v6 to v8 swap, brought it over to me and i found that the main ground that goes from the cylinder head to the cabs fire wall was not connected, fixed that and all the issues were gone including the dim brake lamps...?

I checked the ground to the frame and to the firewall the last time it did it but they were fine. It just did it after the exhaust came off which doesn't make a lick of sense to me as to why it did it after that but was fine before.

Yours didn't get sawsall'd. Yours has C0265 Motor Relay Failure. Requires a new EBCM board (the electronic half of the brake force distributing block).
