Some kids decided to ride their bikes across a busy street today, so i slammed my brakes from 35 till stop to keep from hitting them. I went to my destination, left the truck, started driving home and then the abs light came on. I scanned it and found a code but forgot what it was. I turned the ignition off and on and the light stayed. Checked all the fuses and codes. Not only did no codes come up, but it does not even list codes from the EBCM ($29) anymore. What gives? Could removing my front axles have anything to do with it?

 

well, my hub went out. But why wont efilive read those codes anymore?

 

sometimes hubs will go out and not set any codes, that should be your problem!!!

 

Well, they definitely went out. I put it on jackstands and the left has about 6 inches of play (how is it still on there? idk!!!) and the right has about 3 inches of play. Parts of the bearings are falling through the back of the spindle. So i figure ill need new sensors too. But why wouldnt EFILive read from $29?
