I think you can email the files to hptuners and they can do the segment swap for you so you dont have to burn 2 credits.

 

i was reading if you email HPT about it theyll send you 2.25 beta software so you can do a segment swap yourself.

 

Hp tuners does not have a segment swap file for my os 12606961. 12606961 is the updated os for 12592618. Hp tuners has a segment swap for 12592618. I'll also contact HP tuners for suggestions. But thanks for all the help guys!

 

any updates? i just got 2.25 beta and gonna play with it some. the segment swap is so easy to do with that software.

 

I was able to get some help over on the hp tuners forums. I got as far getting a stock tune file for a 6.0/80e tune with my vin #, with no need for a 80e segment. Now just gotta get it tuned for a 5.3 and mods.

Just trying to confirm and get it right, If my current PCM has (#1)OS 12606961, can the PCM be flashed with a different (#2)OS, 12592618? #

 

I dont think so. Pretty sure the OS ids have to match.

 

Someone sent me a stock OS 12606961 with a 80e segment on it and I finally got my truck running again. I know its a rare OS to perform a 80e segment on it and I don't know how to post it on here. Can someone pm me and I can email it to them to share with others on this site. Thanks to all who helped me out!
