Default 8.1 marine / multec 2 voltage offset, short pulse adder, and min pulse width

Anybody ever come across the correct values for the 44lb 8.1 marine / multec 2 injectors?

Seems like finding the holy grail.

Thanks for any info you might have!

No....unfortunately. I have searched high and low for this info including calling Delphi myself and trying to get something, anything out of them.

An FYI for you and everybody that is using the marine injectors I am going to get this data developed for these sometime here this spring hopefully. I've got three test trucks in my area that I have done tunes for and have talked to them about what I want to do and they agreed to be testers. It is definately going to take some time and alot of logging and gas but it will be worth it.

I am actually very close to being able to convert the Ford injector data into the units that GM uses as Greg did with the injector data disk that he sells with his training DVD. If I can get that figured out which is not easy at all trust me then I can get the data worked out for the marine injectors.

Good injector characterization is more important than alot of guys realize and can make tuning easier in the long run and reduce those pesky drivability problems.

I will bump this thread back up or start a new one when I am getting closer with it. Yeah you can help by trying out the data in your vehicle. I could just send you a test file in either Hptuners form or EFI Live, not sure what you use.

Glad I saw this before I start to tune myself. So is what you are saying is it is hard to tune the marine inj period or just to fine tune. I dont have those inj yet but have been looking are they not a good choice?

Its fine tuning, imo... My truck performs very well as it is.

There is no information out there...that's for sure....but I've set the flow rate to 43.8 and teh short min pw to 3.921 like the flex fuel injectors from GM and the short min pw to 3.921 helped with part throttle response.

Good to know, im not quite to the point of experimenting because I have other tuning to do, but I'll try those values when I get there.

After research quite a bit, a person who has the information but won't share it suggested that you take an 99 LS1 file and get their voltage offset table...paste it to your tune and multiple the whole table by 1.20 and you'll be close to the values.

Now, how close is this...I have no clue. I have not been able to test this for myself.
