Why such a huge I/E cam duration split for a 5.3?

the split on that cam is way to big for cathedral port heads.

If I did my math right you have around 56cc heads. To be completely honest I would check for PTV clearance? I feel like the intake will clear, but the exhaust might hang long enough to kiss your piston. If it were my build I would not chance it! DO the right thing and check the PTV!

good running streetcar, and Im having my cam grinded now so what do you think would be a good split for my duration ? and I maybe wrong on the exact mill # but Im suppose to have 58cc to tell the truth I though the split on the cam was rather small
compared to a ls6 cam 204/218@.50 .550/.550 lift 117.5 LSA im kinda of new to this so forgive me if I sound like a noob the car is 3300 with me in it

upper 220 duration since your set up is so light. I'd limit the split to 4 degrees honestly. Like a 228/232
