5.3 first start

Default 5.3 first start

first time starting 5.3 after swap and after about 30 seconds it was idling high then kinda slowed down then it shut off i tried to start it again and heard like a clunk it shook the whole truck dont know what it is and dont want to start it again just incase it was something serious anybody know what could have went wrong? Stock 5.3 nothing serious. Has tune already on it with vats deleted btw

Turn the engine over by hand, see if you can do that.

Yea, fuel pressure? Should be 58 PSI or so at the rail. You might crank it with the fuel pump fuse pulled with a manual oil pressure gauge connected to see what the oil pressure is during vigorous cranking, not starting.
