who has kept the stock computer in and who puts the 6.0 computer in?

 

just get your stock one tuned

 

I used a computer from a zr1, heard its worth an extra 100hp

oh and if you put a pcm out of a 6.0 truck, its not goin to crank from the security..
So you would have to get it tuned.I wouldnt drive a 6.0 on a 5.3 tune either, so your goin to need a tune...

just email justin at blackbear, i just had the same thing done to my truck where i went from a 4.8 to a 6.0, and the tune makes a world of difference

 

im waiting on nelson performance
currently running the 5.3 ecm to run this 6.0 cam, header, stall
it tries to idle
i beleive it needs a tune badly

I'm on my factory 5.3 ecm right now, been running my cammed LQ9 for years with it! =) Just get it tuned!

 

i got my pcm back tuned for 2005 now, its a lot faster
