Get a good log of your 1-2 and 2-3 shifts. MPH and RPM.

Say your 1-2 shift is at 60mph @ 6000Rpms

Your goin to go in your 1-2 part throttle shift table and Set performance mode up to ~55mph across the whole board..
2-1 downshift to 50mph or so. That way if your goin 50mph or under it will go to first gear.

2-3 shift is at 100mph@6000rpms
Set your 2-3mph part throttle to ~98mph.
3-2 downshift to 95mph or so.

Vola.
this coms invery handy if you spin and let out or feather it. Its not goin to up shift and then downshift again. Its goin to shift when it gets to your MPH set point.

That's all you need to do, just keep at least 5mph difference between the up shift speed and down shift speed.

Damn what a difference that made! This thing is an entirely different beast from a 10-20 roll now! That downshifting from 2nd to 1st was KILLING my performance.

This sorta gets me to thinking I may need to set up my normal shift times alittle better as well. It just makes that much difference......WOW.

Yea with that converter you can up the part throttle normal shifts and might make it feel like its not pushing the converter all the time.

Def think I'm going to give that a try. It seems like I always catch myself rolling into the throttle alittle more after the first shift because shifting at such a low speed just doesn't quite feel right.

I set mine to carry the gears longer as I hate setups that are in 3rd gear by 15mph.

I hate that too!

I'd like to take a look at your part throttle normal settings sometime when you get a chance to screen shot them. Thanks man

Ok, just remember I have 4.10's so your RPM will be lower at the same mph.

I have 4.10s as well. My tuner had it wrong in my tune and I had to correct it. I don't think it was set right on the tune I uploaded here, but its set right on my truck right now. That was how I fixed one of the little problems I was having with it not shifting at the right rpm I think.

Oh ok, I just remembered seeing your old tune and I think it said 3.73

Ya that will throw off your settings.
