Default 4l80e tuning for boost?

Hey guys ive done some searching but am coming up short or maybe overthinking this. I have an 02 single cab silverado 5.3,76mm china charger, 4l80e, hd2 with budget circle d 3200. Truck is tuned with hp tuners. My question is what do you guys change in the transmission tune to keep the trans happy while beating on it. I cant find a general consensus of what tables people mess with and whats left alone. Ive seen some just run the stock tune and it lives, but idk just a little lossed and dont want to cook my trans. What do you guys think? Sorry if my post is a story lol any help would be greatly appreciated. Ps trans tune is a stock 2500 gas tune as of right now.

I don't see a reason for why anything special needs to be changed. You can tweak the shift speed and shift pressure how you want, it's all a personal preference really. Never really heard of anyone making a special transmission calibration just because they are adding power, the 4L80e will hardly care that you added power to a certain point. Then parts might start breaking.

For sure never give it the beans in Drive, always be in D3 for power pulls.

I would increase the min/max PW on the torque converter to prevent slippage during lock up, avoid shifting to 4th at WOT and anything over 75% TPS, and reduce shift times over 295ft lbs or disable adaptives altogether.

You should really only consider things like shift pressure to be fine tuning ***** for a conventional automatic transmission. All of the coarse adjustment is done hydraulically. Clutch to clutch transmissions are a bit different. But yes, you could realistically drop a shift kit in an 80e, change nothing pressure related in the calibration and have zero issues. May not drive perfect or be consistent, but durability should be there.

Appreciate it the advice fellas, yea i went into the converter setting like mentioned to prevent acess slipping, also to make it not lock up at wot in third. It seems to drive really good and im happy with it overall. Good to hear people have good luck with these without making tons of tuning changes. Im only shooting to make 500ish tire so i think it should hold up good knowing how stong 4l80s are without tons of mods
