A lot of times, a minimal amount of shift timing feels better than 0 because it allows a short shift time and the adaptives will still be alive.

When the shift time aka duration is at 0 the shift adapts are turned off. If this is done on a stock trans it wouldn’t be a good thing. As the trans wears the adapts compensate to keep the shift time to the set duration. If you have a shift kit and you do not turn off the adapts the PCM will run negative numbers trying to make the shift duration longer. This is not a good thing. I could dig up a few data-logs if you would like to see how a shift kit looks on a stock PCM.

I updated the force motor values from a 4L80e tune which helped... I am going to add time to the shifting today to see if that helps. I thought there was a table somewhere where adpative shifting could be enabled or disabled... Does anyone know where that table is?

Also, what does the high pressure adjust table do? D1107? Mine is set to 30 psi across the board....

I am going to add some time into the shift table to see if that helps... will report back today.

D1107 Detemines how much line pressure adjust the adaptive learning can apply, so yours is set at a max of 30psi. Stock was 15 psi. On the newer operating systems, you can setup wether you want adaptive learning or not for upshifts, downshifts etc. On your os, the 0'd shift times will disable adaptives, so anything above 0 will re-enable them.

So mine set add 30 will re-enable adaptive shifting? And does it add 30 psi to the line pressure or remove 30 psi from it? Should I zero it out?

Thanks for the info - what do you think about decreasing the values in the bottom 2 rows of the force motor table by another 10-15%?

I took 15% out of the force motor table and added .10 to the 1-2 shift and it felt the same.

Any other ideas??
