Default 4l80 harness

I need a harness for my 80 swap. I know Speartech has an adapter but would it work if I got a harness from the junkyard and spliced it in to my existing harness? Seems like it would work fine and save a few $$$.??

That would be a crazy amount of work to splice all the wires. You can either buy the adapter or just do the re-pinning of the 2 wires in the connector. I have the speartech adapter but only because I got it cheap ($60) otherwise I would just re-pin.

Do you have a link to show how to re-pin? Does that usually work well?

Nonnieselmen put it up years ago, I'm sure it's a sticky somewhere. It should work perfect.

Take the 20 pin connector apart. Swap the brown wire and the white wire. Putthe connector back together and your done.
Pretty dumb to buy an adapter harness for any amount when its as simple as a 2 wire swap.

All your doin is moving wires so the lock up solenoid works. The polarity is backwards from a 60 to a 80.

Run two wires from the ISS to the pcm.

Ill find the sticky in the mornig and post it up. Im on my phone now and it sucks looking for that kinda stuff.
