346 turbo shift point

im geting a cam speced by pat g for my 346 turbo truck. the truck weighs 4385 with me in it. i need help figuring out my desired shift point and desired redline. Anybody have any ideas?

Cam specs? We have no way of knowing the rpm range of the cam.

He doesn't have the cam yet. He needs to tell Pat G his desired shift point and redline, so Pat can tailor the cam to his needs.

If anything, tell us what turbo you're using...

i will be going with the ball bearing 76mm kit from kb. Ive decided to go ls6 cam. tanks for the coments guys!

I have mine shifting at 6000 on the street, and 6300 at the track.

You can probably shift pretty high with that combo. 6500 wouldn't be bad. I have my throttle cut at 6300 for 6200 shifts, hit the cut last weekend and scared the **** out of me lol I thought I blew something up.
