2500 gauge cluster swap

Default 2500 gauge cluster swap

i was told i can swap a 2500 gauge cluster into my o2 1500, is this true? itd be nice to have the trans temp my buddy has one from a truck he parted out

Yes, this is true... it takes about 5 minutes. Your 1500 has the trans temp sending unit and is wired to work with the trans temp gauge.

EDIT: If they're from the same body style : 99-02 cluster only, the 03-06 cluster won't work.

03-06 2500 cluster will work in an 06 1500... Right?

You can also use the Escalade/Yukon Denali cluster for more bling.
