Default 2012 GMC Sierra Electrical Issues. NEED HELP!!

I am having a serious mechanical/electrical problem and I really am at a loss of where to go. I pretty much tore my truck apart to put new carpet and utility lighting throughout. In doing so, I was trying to go through the main grommet in the firewall with an exacto and it must have hit something. I pulled back and the tip of the exacto was black and bent. Unfortunately, I had the positive of the battery disconnected and not the negative. So I am thinking that I grounded something out. Now, the horn, ac/heater blower, and an airbag notification is on. I checked all the fuses I could find. It looks like they are all intact. I really need some guidance as to what I should do next. Should I replace all of the relays and fuses anyway? Reset the computer? I am truly at a loss and I'm really pissed at myself for putting myself in this position. Let me know what your thoughts are and THANK YOU SO MUCH IN ADVANCE!!!

Not any help, but that's not possible.

I am having a lot of issues getting the "bonnet" off of the main wiring harness. I am thinking about cutting it away to be able to get to the wires and them taping it back up securely. Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Disconnect battery, let it sit for 10 minutes.

Just grounding something shouldn’t cause an issue, unless there was fire and smoke, which would show lots of current going through.

Hook up battery, now what happens?

Check all fuses.

Tell us what’s happening. Most likely, you cut a wire, that needs reattached.

I checked all fuses using a multimeter and using a test light. All seemed to be good. As far as fire and smoke, there wasn't any fire but there was smoke. The other thing is that the exacto blade wasn't just black on the end, it was bent. I hadn't put enough pressure on it to bend it so it had to of happened when I touched the wires. I am going to try to get to the wires today and see what I can find. I will definitely keep you posted.

Are you sure it was the positive cable that you removed? Again no help, it's just not possible unless maybe there is a second positive wire if your battery has both top and side terminals?

When you tape te "bonnet" back up, use self fusing silicone tape.

The only thing I can think is that perhaps the positive battery cable was slightly touching still without my knowledge. I don't have a second positive terminal for sure. When I got in there, there was 2 wires completely fused together and 3 more that looked like they had been nicked barely. I did what I could to try and wrap around the ones that were nicked. The ones that were completely severed, I soldered and wrapped. They were so small, I couldn't get heat shrink on them. Hopefully, this will solve my problem.
