I need your help guys ,Iam stumped on a 6.2 swap that iam doing .
I have an 07 escalade motor, harness and pcm ,tranny is out of an 2011 Silverado.
this is where it gets tricky .the caddy pcm will start the motor but not the run trans .i then purchased a 2011 pcm cure this but it will not start just turn over .iam thinking the pin outs might be different . does anyone have acces to the pcm pinouts for a 2011 Silverado 5.3

Use the 2007 ECM and harness.
That will power and communicate with any of the transmissions.
The 07 harness is different than the 2011 harness.
Pinout is slightly different for sure.

I'm not familiar with the relay mod, nor is it needed.
However, all communications lines need to be addressed before further diagnosing.

The first question is:
What transmission is behind the '07 6.2L; that makes all the difference when answering your questions.
I know they came with the 6speed auto.

It consist of a 07 6.2, harness and pcm are from same vehicle.tranny is out of an 2011 silverado. I can get it to run as and idle but trans will not shift only in limp
mode

 

Is the trans a 4L60e or 6L80e? big difference on wiring and why the trans don't work.
Stick with the '07 engine, ecm and harness, since they came together.

If you hook up a scan tool to the truck can you communicate with the TCM? if not you have a data line problem between the PCM and TCM. ive seen this issue before when attempting this swap-RAY
